El Eloah means God.
Elohim means God is a creator. God creates the universe and everything in them. Everything in this world are created by God. God give human beings wisdom so that they invent different kinds of technologies for the convenience of mankind. In Isaiah 40:28 KJV, hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
El Shaddai means God Almighty. God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscience. Nothing is difficult for God because everything is possible for him. If you want God to listen to your prayer, you must have faith, abide in his commandment and pray according to his will. In Hebrews 11:6 KJV, but without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. In 1 John 5:14 KJV, and this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. In Philippians 4:6 KJV, be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Adonai means Lord.
Jehovah means Lord.
Jehovah Jireh means God will provide. God is our Providence. He is the one who supply all our needs including jobs, food, and etc so we must thank him. If you pray and God answer your prayer, you must quickly offer thanks to him. If you have any need or problem, you should discuss it with God and let God help you. In Proverbs 10:3 KJV, the Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. In Philippians 4:19 KJV, but my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. In Matthew 6:33 KJV, but seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. In Psalm 55:22 KJV, cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. In Proverbs 16:33 KJV, commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Jehovah Rapha means God is a healer. God is our creator. He creates us and he can solve all our problems and heal all our sicknesses. Therefore, if you have any problem, you should look for the source of all things, God. In Psalm 41:3 KJV, the LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. In Mark 5:34 KJV, and he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. In Luke 8:50 KJV, but when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
Jehovah Nissi means the Lord is our banner. The Lord is our banner means fight your battles for God. We must always uphold God in everything that we do so that his name will be glorified. In life, we will face problems but we must learn to submit our problems to God and let him help us. In 1 Corinthians 10:31 KJV, whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. In 1 Peter 5:7 KJV, casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Jehovah Mejoddishkem means the Lord who sanctifies you. We must always keep our lives holy and stay away from sins. If you keep yourself holy for God, God will sanctify you and you’ll be part of his people. In 1 Peter 1:16 KJV, because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. In Leviticus 20:7 KJV, sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God. In Hebrews 2:11 KJV, for both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren. In Exodus 31:13 KJV, speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. In Ezekiel 20:12 KJV, moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
Jehovah Raah means the Lord is my shepherd. Christians should surrender themselves completely to God. In whatever circumstances you face, you must discuss your problems with God through prayer and pray for the Holy Spirit to speak to you. The Holy Spirit can talk to you and give you word of wisdom so that you know how to deal with the situation. In Psalm 23:1 KJV, the LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. In 1 Peter 2:25 KJV, for ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. In Revelation 7:17 KJV, for the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. In Jeremiah 31:10 KJV, hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock. In Ezekiel 34:11 KJV, for thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.
Jehovah Shalom means the Lord is our peace. If you have faith in God, the Holy Spirit will give you peace in your heart. You must always tell God your problems. After praying, you must think and say positively, looking forward that God will do miracles and help you see through your problems. Sometimes, you don’t have peace in your heart because of the devil’s deceptions. You must find out what is causing you troubles in your heart and learn to let go if it is from the devil.
Jehovah Elohim means Lord God.
Jehovah Tsidkenu means the Lord is our righteousness. In the new covenant, anyone can get saved by having faith in Jesus Christ. Our salvation is purely a gift of God and not our own righteousness. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are to imitate Christ’s righteousness and abide in God’s commandments.
Jehovah Rohi means the Lord our shepherd.
Jehovah Shammah means the Lord is there. God promised to be with us if we have faith and cling onto him. In Romans 8:39 KJV, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. In Joshua 1:9 KJV, have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. In Matthew 28:20 KJV, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. In Revelation 3:20, behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. In Hebrews 13:5 KJV, let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Jehovah Sabaoth means the Lord of hosts.
El Elyon means God Most High. God is most powerful. Nothing is more powerful than God.
El Roi means God of seeing. God knows our circumstances but he will not help us until we pray. Nothing will be done until we offer up our requests to God through prayer. In Matthew 7:7 KJV, ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
El Olam means everlasting God. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. God exists forever. In Hebrews 13:8 KJV, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. In Revelation 1:8 KJV, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
El Gibhor means God is a mighty God.
