pic8Many years ago, God sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ to come to earth to die for our sins on the cross. If God did not sent his son Jesus Christ to become ransom for our sins and die on the cross, we will all go to hell. Because Jesus came to earth and die for our sins, anyone who believe in Jesus Christ and follow God’s commandments can inherit eternal life in the kingdom of heaven. We receive salvation through grace. God gives the gift of eternal life to anyone who believe in Jesus.

In Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV, for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:Not of works, lest any man should boast. In John 6:37 KJV, all that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. In John 3:16 KJV, for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. In Acts 4:12 KJV, neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Jesus’ blood on the cross ransom us from our sins. In the Old Testament, blood of sin offering animals are necessary for cleansing the Israelite from their sins. Similarly, the blood of Jesus is used to atone for the sins of everyone in this earth so that by believing in him and following his commandments, they can receive eternal life.

In Hebrews 9:6-15 KJV, now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

The New Testament is different than the Old Testament. The Old Testament emphasizes doing God’s commandments for example following ceremonial laws, festivals, and other commandments. In the New Testament, anyone can receive eternal life by putting his faith in Jesus Christ. But that doesn’t mean that you don’t have to follow God’s commandment anymore. If you believe in God, you must also abide in his commandments. Christians still have to abide in the moral laws in the Old Testament such as the Ten Commandments.

In Romans 10:9-13 KJV, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you want to accept Jesus Christ, you can say the following salvation prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I acknowledge all my sins in the past. Confess every single one of your sins to God here. I believe that Jesus Christ had die on the cross for my sins. I believe that in Romans 10:9, that if I confess you as the Lord Jesus and believe that God has raised him from the dead, then I shall be saved. Lord, please fill me with your Holy Spirit. Please help me to walk and abide in your commandments. Holy Spirit, I surrender completely to you. Please give me strength to change and get rid of my bad habits and sins so that I can be more and more like Jesus Christ. Thank you.

In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

After saying the salvation prayer, you must get baptized into a bible believing church such as Methodist church, Baptist church or non denominational church. You can pray to God and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to find a suitable church. You must read the bible regularly so that you know God’s words. In this way, the devil will not be able to easily deceive you. In 1 Peter 5:8 KJV, be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
